Psychiatry Registered Nurses (RN) Harborview Medical Center is a level one adult and pediatric trauma center as well as regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community.
UNIT Adults 18-99 plus
Two-acute care floors
Psych Intensive care unit (Psych ICU)
Psych Emergency service (PES)
DEPARTMENT
21-bed unit
2:1 staffing ratios
24/7 security
Our ICU patient population is primarily involuntary. Our nurses and staff understand de-escalation, seclusion, and restraint techniques. Our staff deal with a broad range of complex mental health and medical diagnosis.
SCHEDULE
60% NIGHTS
Requirements:
Graduated from a accredited school of nursing
Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice or MSL
One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting
