click here. Harborview Medical Center's Liver Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-time Days Patient Services Specialist, (job profile: Patient Services Specialist 3) .
WORK SCHEDULE Monday- Friday (100% FTE)
Full-time Days 800am-430pm

RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain prior authorizations for various health insurance with the network of specialty services
Under general supervision, perform specialized clerical and technical duties to facilitate the delivery of patient care
Function as an expert in both patient service area and registration; perform the work of registration and scheduling or unit coordination
Follow an effective workflow for the referral process to address both internal and external referrals, as well as communicating with referring providers
Follow processes for specific subspecialty referrals with physicians
Oversee referral process and ensure compliance with process
Maintain a database for tracking referrals using EPIC
Create, maintain, and adjust provider templates per provider requests
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduation or equivalent
Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education/experience
