Revenue Integrity Specialist, Radiology/Oncology Billing and Coding WORK SCHEDULE 100%FTE
Day Shift
100% Remote
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Support operational groups involved in Epic charging and billing (Clinics / Departments, Patient Access, Hospital / Professional Billing)
Works with a diverse group of people from All UW Medicine entities to identify revenue cycle improvement opportunities
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine's Revenue Integrity Department is a shared services organization, which supports all of UW Medicine entities including but are not limited to UW Medical Center Montlake (UWMC ML), UW Medical Center Northwest (UWMC NW), Harborview Medical Center (HMC)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assume Accountability and Monitor Key Metrics (Billing and Coding, Monthly Revenue, Late/Missing Charges, administrative write-offs and utilization by book of business
Review, Remediation, Coding and Educate on Billing and Coding / Reimbursement Opportunities
Perform analysis and troubleshooting for billing and coding/ missing charge resolution and denial mitigation
Epic/Mosaiq Issue Resolution/Reporting
Collaborate with internal customers to assess information requirements and develop special custom and production reports to meet those needs
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in a health-care oriented profession, that demonstrates analytical and leadership abilities in revenue integrity, health information management, or patient access environment, or specialty in Radiation Oncology
6-8 years' recent experience in healthcare finance/revenue cycle management/revenue integrity
6-8 years’ experience serving in a team environment for Radiation Oncology, coaching, mentoring staff
6-8 years’ experience effectively working with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a complex environment for Radiation Oncology initiatives
OR Equivalent education and/or experience
