an experienced nurse (RN) to work on our Complex Medical-Surgical unit. WORK SCHEDULE 90%, 36 hours/week
12-hour night shift
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Complex Med-Surg unit (4NE) is a 30 bed unit that cares for patients who have had a variety of complex surgical procedures. The surgical services are: General Surgery (complex abdominal), Neurosurgery (cranial and spine), Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, and Thoracic surgery. In addition, 4NE takes care of a small number of patients with neurologic disorders.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of current/recent inpatient nursing experience with strong nursing and teamwork skills
Active license to practice as an RN in Washington State required by start date
BLS required

$10,000 sign-on bonus (UW Medicine employees not eligible)
BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
Certification premium - $1.25/hour
Night premium - $4.50/hour
Weekend premium - $4.00/hour
