DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION :
The General Internal Medicine Center at UW Medical Center - Roosevelt provides comprehensive primary care for adult patients, including preventive medicine services, assessment and treatment of acute medical problems and monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases. We are a dynamic teaching clinic, focused on providing patient-centered care grounded in the best available medical evidence.
Our mental healthcare professionals provide a range of services including psychiatric consultations, medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care. You can also access many specialized care services in this location, making this a convenient place to get the coordinated care UW Medicine is known for.
RESPONSIBILITIES Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent AND
One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education/experience
