Per Diem Registered Nurse .
WORK SCHEDULE Per diem schedule / variable hours per week
Monday - Friday only
Must be able to work 8 hour day shifts
Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Medical Specialties Clinic provides outpatient care for medically complex patients. The clinic has multiple service lines, including nephrology, pulmonology, cystic fibrosis care, infectious diseases, outpatient transplant care, and pulmonary vascular disease, as well as The Center for Interstitial Lung Disease.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide care coordination services for medically complex patients
Educate patients on ongoing care plans
Administer medications
Answer patient calls and eCare messages
Triage patient calls
Follow up on medical records and test results
Manage preauthorizations and referrals
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience with patients across a wide range of ages and conditions
Experience with cardiopulmonary assessments and nursing documentation
Recent line care experience
Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Active BLS
