WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week, Day Shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors to the UW Medical Center-Montlake, following the established policies and procedures for the parking operation
Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately process parking transactions, provide accurate shift/cashier reports for audit, tracking and documentation in accordance with department polices and procedures
Respond appropriately to questions offering solutions, and redirects customers and vehicle traffic to alternate parking locations for the medical center when necessary. Monitors and performs duties related to vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow control
Demonstrate an understanding of operating the parking equipment and troubleshoot basic functions and repairs when necessary
Maintains the presentation, service, and safety standards of the parking operations. Responds to emergent situations as according to department and medical center standards
Manages workflow during scheduled work shift efficiently with medical center related business and works independently without supervision
Effectively prioritize and adjust workflow to meet the changing volumes and demands of the parking operation
Accurately follow cash control and cash handling polices and procedures
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: The examination (including written, E & T and oral components) will consist of a scored evaluation of the ability to perform accurate arithmetic computations involving money and to follow instructions, ability to drive safely, and personal qualifications related to the ability to collect parking fees and direct campus traffic.
