PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR, Full-time Days RESPONSIBILITIES •Assist manager and physicians to develop and implement
PATIENT care systems.
•Identify and plan for staffing needs and proactively take appropriate action
•Prepare employee schedules and assign work to staff; evaluates daily workload, workflow, and adjusts staff assignments accordingly.
•Effectively delegate, manage change, set expectations and goals, make decisions, solve problem, and model fairness and respect.
•Build relationships and fosters teamwork and collaboration to accomplish organization’s goals.
•Identify quality benchmarks, assesses departmental performance and designs improvement plans.
•Develop goals and objectives and maintains policies and procedures.
•Improve department cost efficiency and productivity.
•Facilitate open communications and joint decision making with staff.
•Responsible for staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and development
•Evaluate staff performance and competency; coaches/disciplines/discharges to improve individual and departmental performance.
•Collaborate with management to develop departmental budget, monitors data to evaluate department productivity, maintains a cost-effective department.
DESIRED •A Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field; and
•One year experience in a healthcare setting which includes lead responsibility; or
•Equivalent education/experience.
