PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST LEAD .
WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week, Evening Shifts
Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30 PM - 3:00 AM
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Patient Services Specialist Lead provides guidance and direction to assigned staff; sets priorities, assigns tasks, trains, directs daily workflow, maximizes efficiency, and serves as a positive role model to improve department performance

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITITES
Make, coordinate, and monitor daily work assignments; assist with establishing work schedules
Act as resource; give advice and instructions to employees; coach staff on assigned tasks; facilitate problem/issue resolution
Coordinate departmental operations
Monitor workflow and expedite work completion; assure that deadlines are met
Notify supervisor of backlogs; assist management with establishing and adjusting priorities
Make recommendations to management regarding opportunities for process improvement; participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives
Perform admitting or pre-admitting procedures upon arrival of patients
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduation or equivalent AND Three years of Patient Support Service experience OR equivalent education/experience.
