PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant position.
WORK SCHEDULE 87.5% FTE, Variable Shift, 10:00am-5:30 pm (35 hours per week)
75% FTE, Variable Shift, 10:00am-8:30pm (30 hours per week)
100% FTE, Evening Shift, 3:00pm-11:00pm (40 hours per week)
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Radiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providers
Through our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum
Our faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens
Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departments
Ordering and stocking of supplies
Maintain / set up of special equipment
Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.
Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire
