  • $10,000 sign-on bonus (UW Medicine Employees not eligible)
  • BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
  • Certification premium - $1.25/hour
  • Evening premium - $2.50/hour
  • Night premium - $4.50/hour
  • Weekend premium - $4.00/hour
  • Overtime pay

    The Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE (RN2) .
    WORK SCHEDULE
    Full time variable days per week.
    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Function as a liaison between patients, physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Become a subject expert in client teaching of recent or future Interventional Radiology care
  • Knowledgeable on full cycle nursing care in the Radiology field
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    Vascular and interventional radiology (VIR) specialists provide minimally invasive image-guided procedures for conditions that once required traditional, open surgery.
    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide triage assessment, nursing diagnosis, and evaluating all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural of Interventional Radiology
  • Review and present all pertinent patient health history, physician orders and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for the procedural care.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • This position requires at least two years previous experience in a Procedural Area, Emergency or ICU.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
  • BLS certification
    A higher degree of healthcare.
