Certified Nursing Assistants / Patient Care Technicians work at the patients' bedsides and take care of basic patient care needs. PCTs support and interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and other medical staff in caring for patients in need of physical and medical health care.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS :
Evening Shift : $1.50 per hour
Night Shift : $2.25 per hour
Weekend Pay : $1.50 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse
Assists patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating
Helps maintain a safe environment of care
Prepares patients for surgery
Provides close observation for patients needing constant monitoring
Helps with patient transportation
Assists with maintenance of equipment and supplies
Performs various clerical tasks
Take vital signs
PCTs may serve in several roles, including, Constant Observer and General Unit PCT
REQUIREMENTS :
Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington.
AND
High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT :
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card.
