The QA Test Lead will work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to design and execute test plans, ensuring the overall quality and functionality of delivered solutions are aligned with business expectations. The QA Test Lead will be a key member of the project management office (PMO).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and Testing:
• Design and lead testing plans for IT software development and configuration projects, using Agile and continuous delivery methodology.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand business requirements, use cases, and system functionality.
• Provides consultation in business requirements and product design reviews, and provide feedback.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, based on business requirements and product design reviews.
• Execute test cases to validate requirements and ensure usability.
• Establish regression test cases by functional area to be executed with every code release.
• Provide feedback on the usability of developed solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and report product defects. Track defects and coordinate with developers to ensure resolution.
• Plan and manage testing performed by end users for user assessment testing, including training testers and tracking defects.
• Communicate testing progress and results to project team.
• Provide support to the training team with the development of training documentation.
• Triage and track post-production issues and requests.
• Establish testing standards to be applied across phases and projects.
• Supervise quality assurance testers on temporary project appointments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field and three years of progressively responsible experience creating, executing, and managing testing for software projects. Equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may substitute for a degree.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong working knowledge of software testing best practices.
• Experience with reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements.
• Experience designing flexible test systems to adapt to rapidly changing specifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication, technical documentation, and interpersonal interaction.
• Ability to work independently, think analytically, problem solve, take initiative, set priorities, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team by providing and incorporating feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Enterprise CRM systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
• Experience with defect management tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Team Foundation Server)
• Ability to perform data analysis, including querying standard databases using SQL.
• Understanding of data modeling and database architecture.
