Description:

Swedish Medical Group is looking a Program Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Heart and Vascular Administration at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA.

Provides comprehensive administrative support for the clinic/department, coordinate clinic/department functions and special projects on a day to day basis as required. Works closely with Clinic/Program Administrator and Medical Director(s) toward implementation of clinic/department goals.

In this position you will:

  • Coordinates scheduling of professional staff for program sessions and team meetings
  • Coordinates patient referrals, intake, and scheduling. Works with medical director and families to ensure necessary screening tests are completed prior to beginning of program cycle
  • Establishes and manages enrollment for programs, including if necessary, maintaining a wait list. Maintains effective communication with families about treatment start dates, expectations, and schedules
  • Manages program equipment and supplies, from ordering to inventory
  • \Works with medical director to develop referral relationships and maintain effective communications with referring physicians. May make calls to physician offices, send materials, place follow up calls to physicians.

Qualifications:

Required qualification for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience or background in healthcare clinic work, marketing, or business related experience
  • Experience in a clinical setting
