Position Summary:
The Stroke Program Manager will serve as the coordinator for stroke and neurovascular care and critical assessment education and protocols in assigned areas and assist with organizational regulatory and system certifications for stroke from regulatory bodies.
Due to the low volume, this position will be expected to assist the other sites as needed.
The work of the Stroke Program Manager is fully integrated with other relevant work, structures, planning and delivery within the Neurosciences Careline. The Stroke Program Manager will serve as the coordinator for stroke and neurovascular care and critical assessments in the assigned area and lead all regulatory and system certifications for stroke from regulatory bodies. The incumbent will represent the stroke program for MultiCare Health System at local, regional, state and national levels with participation in stroke related committees, technical advisory boards and neuroscience conferences.
Minimum Requirements:
Three years of experience in a neuroscience or stroke area in a clinical or management capacity
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Current Washington State License as a registered nurse
Bachelors degree in health care field required, Masters degree in relevant field highly preferred
Specialty certification from American Board of Neuroscience Nurses as Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) within 12 months of hire
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification
