Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Senior Business Development Specialist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
Working in collaboration with executive leaders and management team, the Senior Business Development Specialist leads efforts to develop and implement a variety of strategies and tactics designed to improve market share throughout the region.
In keeping with the strategic and marketing plan, the Business Development Specialist Senior develops and communicates an understanding of regional competitors and services and works with service groups to refine and update program development priorities in response. The Business Development Specialist Senior develops working relationships with physicians and assists in facilitating contact with community referral sources through a variety of mechanisms including personal visits, educational lectures, meetings and additional outreach opportunities both clinical and community based. Personally establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with referral sources, and serves as an information resource and contact point for referring physicians with SMC, SMG and Providence; this includes troubleshooting issues and working with the clinic directors to ensure patient issues are resolved. Advises on the development of informational packets and service guides to support referrals and professional access to SMC services, including consultation and advice on web based referral information. Works with Corporate Communications to develop and implement marketing campaigns, public relations and web-based initiatives. Works closely with patient education to develop education materials, which align with the strategic plan and goals of the assigned network and/or service area.
