Position Summary:
The Hospice Volunteer Services Program Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, training, supervision, evaluation and recognition of volunteers serving in the assigned sites of MultiCare Health System. The Program Coordinator also supports existing and developing new volunteer service areas to continually enhance the services and quality of our Hospice Programs.
Minimum Requirements:
One (1) year of direct experience in volunteer services or hospice volunteer program development required
Two (2) years of customer service, clerical, or lead experience required and proven outcomes in large volunteer program development
Experience in healthcare preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
