Position Summary:
The Compliance Data /Regulatory Analyst is responsible for supporting MultiCare’s Corporate Compliance Program to perform regulatory oversight by managing the department’s internal data and acting as the primary source for the department’s data needs. The incumbent works with departments and management throughout the health system to design, execute and review data analytical reports (from multiple systems) in accordance with the annual compliance work plan and reporting requirements. The Analyst drafts reports, ensures the accuracy of data, presents analytical findings, supports Compliance operations and risk identification within the department system of record. The Compliance Data /Regulatory Analyst serves as a role model for ethical behavior and promotes awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the MultiCare mission, vision and values, as well as those required by federal and state law.
Candidates for the Compliance Data/Regulatory Analyst position should have the ability to
•Proficiency in constructing complex SQL queries from scratch
•Through data mining, identify risks, trends and patterns in complex data sets
•Use diverse and expansive data to tell concise stories in a visual format
•Have the capacity or background to understand basic regulatory concepts.

Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience with data analytics including developing, implementing, operating or maintaining financial or operational analytical information systems
Experience in creating and working with Excel, Access, audit data mining tools and decision support systems
Experience with government healthcare regulatory compliance preferred
Healthcare experience preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, healthcare, or computer science

SQL experience required.
