Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and strategic professional to join the Monetization Strategy team within Spotify’s Business Strategy & Insights organization. Our team tackles some of the most critical strategic questions around how we price and package Spotify Premium across the globe. In this role, you will help shape the future of Spotify’s subscription business by conducting rigorous analysis, developing financial and strategic business cases, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with direct influence on Spotify’s global monetization strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform Spotify’s global pricing and packaging strategy
- Research consumer behaviors, attitudes, and willingness to pay, leveraging both qualitative insights and quantitative data
- Develop clear, compelling presentations and briefing materials for executive stakeholders
- Partner with data science and consumer insights teams to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
- Support and drive ad-hoc strategic projects that impact Premium monetization and user growth
- Monitor and assess emerging industry and competitive trends to anticipate opportunities and risks
Who You Are
- A strategy professional with 2+ years of prior experience at a top strategy consulting firm
- Highly skilled in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and business case development
- A strong communicator with experience structuring and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating highly ambiguous problems with a structured, hypothesis-driven approach
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Experience with SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools is a plus
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or another relevant field that demonstrates strategy and data-driven decision making

- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
The United States base range for this position is $108,306 to $154,723, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
