 UW Medical Center - Montlake  has an outstanding opportunity for a per-diem 
 ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) in the CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION (CATH) LAB.     WORK SCHEDULE:    0% FTE, Per-diem 
   Day Shift, 7:00am – 5:30pm 
   DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:  
  Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake  provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services. 
  Our services include general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure management, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services.

   PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
   Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases. 
   Effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department. 
   Case types include all complex coronary (PCI, CTO, Brachy), structural heart (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid clip, LAAO, ASD/PFO/VSD, etc.), heart failure/transplant (Biopsies, RHC, Impella, Tandem, ECMO, IABP) and adult-congenital procedures 
   REQUIREMENTS:  
   Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) 
  OR 
    Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program AND Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) 
  RCIS, CIS, Cardiovascular Tech, #CVT, Registered Cardiovascular Tech, Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Tech, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, CV Technologist, RT, ARRT, CI, RCES, Radiologic Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Tech
