Join us as a Tech & Product Internal Controller and help us ensure the robustness and security of our IT systems serving 400,000 customers across Europe. You will play a key role in maintaining Qonto's high standards of compliance and risk management as we scale towards serving one million SMEs by 2025. As part of our Internal Control team, you will work closely with Charlotte Guilbaud , our Tech & Product Internal Controller expert, who will mentor you and help you develop deep expertise in IT security regulations and technical compliance frameworks. 👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Tech & Product Internal Controller at Qonto, you will: • Conduct monthly controls on tech and product activities , including IT framework reviews, operational effectiveness assessments, access reviews, change management controls and more • Lead independent control processes from stakeholder interviews to control documentation, findings identification, and remediation follow-up • Collaborate with technical teams (leads and individual contributors) to understand their processes and assess compliance with internal policies and specific regulations • Implement and monitor corrective measures when control gaps are identified , working with stakeholders to ensure proper remediation • Contribute to maintaining our ISO certifications and ensuring compliance with European regulations 🤔 What you can expect: • Regulatory Focus : You'll work on product, IT security and data protection regulations, gaining expertise in complex compliance frameworks that are essential in the fintech industry • Structured Approach : We value thorough analysis and upfront planning. You'll have time to conduct quality controls with clear deadlines and defined success metrics • Mentorship & Growth : Work directly with Charlotte, who brings 4+ years of IT risk consulting experience from KPMG and deep expertise in tech compliance at Qonto • Cross-functional Collaboration : Interact with technical leads and potentially head-of-level stakeholders, building strong relationships across our engineering and product teams • Tools & Methodology : Use structured tools inspired by Lean management as part of the Qonto Way, our culture of continuous improvement 🤝 About your future manager Charlotte brings over 4 years of experience in IT risk consulting at KPMG, where she specialized in technical audits and IT risk management. She also has a strong foundation in internal audit and compliance from earlier roles in both the public and private sectors. Since May 2024, she has been contributing to the internal control framework for Tech & Product teams at Qonto, gaining deep fintech and regulatory expertise along the way. What can she bring to you? Charlotte is known for her structured, hands-on management style, high standards, and ability to foster trust with technical teams. She offers a structured mentorship approach that emphasizes autonomy and continuous learning, supported by deep expertise in fintech regulations. Her strong relationship with technical stakeholders will help accelerate your learning and integration into the team. You'll also benefit from a solid team setup, with hierarchical support from Guillaume, Head of Internal Control. 🏅 About You : • Education & Background : Engineering or audit background preferred, with experience in fast-paced environments (internships in Big 4 IT consulting, fintech audit, or similar roles valued) • Analytical Mindset : Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple controls simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards • Communication Skills : Ability to articulate complex findings clearly and build constructive relationships with technical stakeholders at various levels • Problem-Solving Approach : You enjoy analyzing technical processes and finding practical solutions to improve compliance and security • Growth Mindset : Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn technical concepts and grow in internal control within a fintech environment At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist.
