Job Description
The Client Marketing Analytics team transforms data into actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies across Citi's various channels and lines of business. We focus on maximizing client engagement and ROI through data-driven decisions. This role is based out of Analytics & Information Management (AIM), Citi's in-house analytics center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Analytics: Manage marketing partnerships, evaluate campaign performance, and optimize ROI.
- Event ROI Analytics: Analyze event data to assess impact on client engagement and ROI, providing recommendations for future events.
- Social & Web Analytics: Analyze client engagement across digital platforms and social media, optimizing content placement for acquisition and engagement.
- Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor marketing performance and deliver real-time insights. Enhance reporting capabilities using advanced platforms.
- Opportunity Sizing: Identify and recommend future marketing strategies.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve processes leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., Genesis, Github).
- Data-Driven Insights: Translate data into actionable insights regarding consumer behavior, driving targeting and segmentation strategies. Communicate findings to business partners and senior leaders.
- Marketing Investment Optimization: Ensure data analysis informs marketing investment decisions and plan activities.
- Performance Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze marketing program performance and business initiatives, including forecasting key indicators.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
- Recommendation Implementation: Develop and implement data-driven recommendations using analytical and segmentation methodologies.
- Profitability Analysis: Integrate profitability drivers to make pricing and offer recommendations. Perform ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Team Management: Manage, evaluate, and mentor a team of analysts, including performance reviews, compensation, and staffing decisions.
- Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Technology, Computer Science) with 10+ years of experience in analytical solutions delivery and team leadership. MBA with a specialization in Analytics or Marketing is welcome.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor analysts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with large datasets, data warehousing, and data extraction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Marketing Analytics, Marketing Effectiveness, Marketing Measurement & Optimization
- Financial services experience (Investment analytics, Retail analytics, credit cards, banking).
- Familiarity with marketing automation and web analytics platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
