Job Description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint

• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals

• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions

• Must have Extensive Experience in designing and developing front end and large-scale intranet/internet applications.

• Must have strong hands-on experience of implementing Web application using Angular (16 or above) and related technologies like Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, JSON, CSS, Ajax, Spring boot etc.

• Hands on experience on implementing rest API.

• Candidate should have architectural level knowledge of Angular framework and Spring boot.

• Must have experience in SCMs like GIT and tools like JIRA

• Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required.

• Experience with Jenkins will be an added advantage

• Experience in Oracle databases is an added advantage.

• Strong systems analysis, design and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing and other SDLC activities

• Strong communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development

• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in UI Applications Development

• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

This business trades a wide variety of products which include Corporates, Municipals, Mortgages, Short Term, Structured Transaction, Banking as well as New Issues.

Citi is seeking a highly motivated Senior Programmer for its Personal Banking Wealth management (PBWM) team. We are looking for a talented professional with a strong technical and business acumen to partner with the business and guide the development of innovative technology solutions for lending systems. The candidate will be a core member of the technology team where they will partner closely with our Product Development team to manage the technology book of work and drive our technology strategy. Excellent opportunity to gain exposure to various marginal landing systems and products within PBWM.
