Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Shell Script, Sybase/Oracle DB Developer with PL/SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in shell scripting, Sybase DB development, and PL/SQL, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient applications using Python.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers for Oracle databases.
• Write and maintain shell scripts for automation, and data processing tasks.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, other developers, and quality assurance engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform database design, modeling, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various environments, from development to production.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on Python, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.
• Strong database skills with extensive experience in Oracle database development (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, data modeling).
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs using Python.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Experience with other scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Ruby, Kshell) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
