Global Sourcing Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the Global Sourcing team at Spotify. This role is responsible for the sourcing and procurement of indirect categories for our employees and offices around the world. As an individual contributor you will develop and work with key partners to build relationships to increase strategic sourcing activity within the company. Working closely with our business and compliance teams focusing on end to end sourcing activity as well as influencing & developing category strategies. Duties will include running RFx events, evaluations, negotiations, spend/market analytics, contracts and supplier performance/analysis. The position will also include operational and tactical duties relating to procurement intake and associated contract requests where you will act as a liaison between the partner and other members of the sourcing team.

What You'll Do

• Support the management of multiple spend categories
• Conduct spend analysis & cost modeling
• Find opportunities for cost savings & demand management
• Run reports, build dashboards, scorecards and benchmarks that drive awareness of cost optimization opportunities to enable key decision-making
• Market analysis and identification of supplier pool
• Consolidating business/partner requirements
• Lead RFx events and contract negotiations
• Collaborating with partners on program/service implementation
• Monitor overall supplier performance with SLAs, scorecards, business reviews etc.
• Find opportunities for category process improvements and influencing key partners
• Act as first point of contact for day to day questions, issue resolution etc. for various categories including triaging various procurement requests

Who You Are

• You have previous sourcing experience of 4+ years preferably with some project management experience
• Previous sourcing category knowledge & experience in Marketing (including media, social media, creative and advertising agencies) is highly desirable.
• Experience from Professional Services (outsourcing, consulting, HR, legal,) and Facilities Management is also desirable.
• Experience from procurement related Sustainability initiatives & Accessibility initiatives is also a merit.
• Experience handling RFx processes independently and projects with little supervision
• Able to identify patterns in data that reveal risks and opportunities.
• You have experiences in crafting and building data reports and visualizations (i.e Tableau)
• Accustomed to using sourcing tools (i.e. Workday Strategic Sourcing)
• You are analytical, detail oriented and organized
• You are determined and have the ability to identify the need for proactivity
• You have experience in leading changes and are comfortable in pushing back on stakeholders, where necessary to apply the best practices
• You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders & business partners
• You are able to lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team
• You are service minded and motivated by helping people
• You have brought structure into ambiguous situations before which is needed for this role & environment

Where You'll Be

• This role is based in New York
• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2 times per week.

The United States base range for this position is $80,998.00-115,712.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. Apply for this job
