We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Service Provider team! In this role, we are in need of a highly motivated, entrepreneurial minded sales professional who is looking to work with large Service Provider customers. The focus will be to help Service Providers to evolve in this new era of services.
Quota carrying position to lead and develop opportunities in Service Providers
Experience in Service provider industry as well as selling end to end solutions is required.
Proven knowledge of handling a large Service Provider account; sales presentations and short-term and long-term opportunity management crucial.
Strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand customer business requirements and align them to Cisco solutions.
Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to articulate the business relevance back to the customer (Mobility, 5G, Virtualized Networks, Software defined networks, Automations, Security, xCloud, etc).
Strong negotiation skills to navigate price/value issues that result in a Win/Win philosophy.
Must be seasoned in defending an installed base against strong competition and unseating incumbents within the account.
Must be able to work in a cross matrix management organization with the ability to offer direct and indirect influence.
Investigate, identify, and execute plans to establish relationships with internal Sales teams and Business Units that support the larger customer.
Build a solid pipeline including strategic solutions and business model to respond the customers needs
