And that's where you come in: Instructure, Inc. is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to serve as a strategic advisor and consultant to the business leaders to foster a culture of employee engagement, support organizational objectives, and drive HR strategies across the designated region. This role requires a strong understanding of local labor laws, business acumen, and the ability to adapt global HR strategies to meet regional needs. The HR Manager will also play a critical role in regional workforce planning, employee relations, and policy implementations while ensuring alignment with company wide initiatives.
What you will be doing
- Key Responsibilities:
- Regional HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the region's business objectives and ensure alignment with global HR policies and practices. Serve as the regional HR expert, bringing insights on market trends and regulatory requirements.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business leaders within the region, providing expert HR guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and succession planning to meet short and long-term business needs.
- Employee Relations: Lead regional employee relations initiatives, addressing complex and sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality. Provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation, ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
- Performance Management: Drive the regional performance management process, working with managers to ensure effective goal setting, performance evaluation, and employee development. Identify trends and work with leadership to foster a high-performance culture.
- Regional Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulatory requirements. Adapt and implement global policies to meet regional needs, partnering with Legal and Compliance as needed. Partner with HR Services on regional reporting, and ensuring consistent application of company policies.
- Talent Development & Retention: Support regional talent development initiatives, identifying high-potential employees and creating tailored development plans. Collaborate with Learning & Development to ensure regional training programs are relevant and impactful.
- Change Management & Organizational Development: Partner with leaders to support organizational changes, including restructures within the region. Manage communication and change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and employee engagement.
- Data Analytics & HR Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to provide insights and recommendations to regional leaders. Track trends in turnover, engagement, and other key metrics to inform HR strategies and support decision-making.
What You Will Need To Know/have:
- BS Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic HR role, ideally in a multi-country or regional capacity.
- Strong knowledge of regional labor laws, HR best practices and cultural nuances.
- Proven ability to partner with leadership to provide strategic insights that impact business performance.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, organizational change, and project management.
- Experience navigating HRIS data and reporting, preferably in Workday.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and culturally diverse environment.

- Confident, self-starter with the ability to proactively address employee and management needs.
