Join us as an Account Development Specialist to drive revenue growth and customer success across our Spanish and Portuguese markets. You will be the key driver of our expansion strategy, focusing initially on the Spanish market before pioneering our Portuguese market development by the end of 2025. As an Account Development Specialist, you will work closely with Anaïs, our Senior Team Lead Customer Success, and join a dynamic CS&D team of 20+ professionals who are transforming how SMEs manage their finances across Europe. 👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an Account Development Specialist at Qonto, you will: Drive upselling initiatives : Generate MRR by up-selling through strategic outbound calls and relationship building • Ensure successful customer onboarding : Connect with new clients monthly to activate their Qonto accounts and guarantee adoption within their first month • Maintain customer engagement : Follow up with clients during their first months to ensure continued product usage and satisfaction, preventing churn • Develop the Spanish market and expand our Portuguese market : Develop our Spanish market before pioneering our Portuguese market development, building relationships with SMEs and establishing our presence • Retain at-risk customers : Proactively reach out to potential churners to understand their challenges and provide solutions 🤔 What you can expect Market Context : You'll be joining a growing CS&D team led by Nelcy Canon with team leads like Anaïs managing both French and Spanish markets. The Portuguese market is being built from scratch, offering you the opportunity to shape our expansion strategy. • Mission Focus : Your primary focus will be upselling (70% of your targets) with retention activities (30%) but also reach out to customers in order to keep developing our activity. • Team Structure : You'll work alongside one person who already develops the Spanish market, giving you immediate support and collaboration opportunities. • Growth Opportunity : Starting with Spanish market expertise, you'll transition to developing the Portuguese market by year-end, making you a key player in Qonto's international expansion. 🤝 About your future manager With over 6+ years of experience at Qonto, Anaïs Da Costa has been with us since the very beginning. She has grown alongside the company, evolving from a Customer Success Expert to her current role as Senior Team Lead. Anaïs brings deep knowledge of international market dynamics and is well-equipped to guide you through the complexities of expanding into new markets What she brings to the team : Anaïs has built the CS&D function from the ground up at Qonto, transitioning from Customer Care to creating this specialized team in July 2024. Her hands-on experience across all customer success functions means she understands every challenge you'll face and can provide practical solutions. What she can bring to you : Anaïs believes in collaborative management. She likes her team members to feel heard, valued, and engaged in the project. Her extensive experience across CS&D functions - from customer success to key account management - means she can provide mentorship at every level while giving you autonomy to be creative and propose new ideas. 🏅 About You Sales Experience : You have proven experience in upselling or sales , with a track record of meeting revenue targets and building customer relationships in a B2B environment Language Proficiency : You speak Portuguese & Spanish fluently and have strong English communication skills for team meetings and collaboration • Market Knowledge : You understand the Portuguese and Spanish business landscapes, cultural nuances, and can effectively communicate with SMEs in these markets • Hunter Mentality : You're proactive, persistent, and comfortable making outbound calls to drive business growth • Collaborative Spirit : You bring creative ideas to the table, can work independently while contributing to team success, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environments where you can shape processes and strategies At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist.
