As a Senior Partner Development Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating both new and existing software partnerships, spearheading our partner onboarding program, and driving these collaborations to success. This role requires a strategic thinker who is highly proactive, action-oriented, and comfortable working independently to drive results. The role reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development and works closely with cross-functional teams across the business.

- Lead the end-to-end launch process for new partners, including training, sales enablement, and marketing initiatives, with the goal of empowering partners to independently promote and refer merchants to Recurly.
- Nurture and grow existing partnerships to maximize lead generation and drive partner-sourced revenue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and customer success to support partner success.
- Leverage strong sales acumen to co-sell partner-integrated solutions alongside Recurly’s sales team.
- Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing actionable insights and driving continuous optimization.
- Act as the main point of contact between Recurly and key stakeholders within partner organizations, facilitating collaboration and resolving challenges.
- Identify and champion revenue-generating opportunities and joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Support the creation and execution of co-branded marketing campaigns that deliver mutual value.
- Share market insights and industry trends across internal teams to inform product and partnership strategy.
- Represent Recurly at relevant industry and partner events (some travel may be required).
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the subscription billing and payments ecosystem, including ecommerce, software platforms, and key industry players.
- Existing network within fintech, ecommerce, and SaaS industries (including eCommerce, CRM, fraud, tax, and analytics).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with executive stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and partner ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted partnerships.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate operational complexities.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a strong bias toward action; able to work independently and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
