Executive Assistant to the Patient Care Services Administrators Work Schedule 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

Provide direct, high-level complex executive assistance and serve as the principal communication liaison to the Patient Care Services Administrators
The Executive Assistant has high visibility throughout UW Medicine
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides complex scheduling of meetings
Maintains calendars
Takes effective meeting minutes
Develops and implements communication strategies supporting the needs of
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of the Administrators’ operational areas of responsibility.
Organizes, monitors and processes highly sensitive and confidential materials related to key institutional priorities and information while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Promotes and contributes to communication and teambuilding
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field AND five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience to include overseeing and executing office operations, and project management experience in a large, complex organization.
At least one year of experience as an executive assistant to include complex project scheduling experience
Demonstrated professional level written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working effectively with senior administrators and professionals, including sensitivity to handling confidential information and urgent matters in a thoroughly professional and timely manner
Demonstrated effective and professional communication style
Sophisticated project management experience, independent decision making, sensitivity to the needs of the Administrators’ constituents, organization and follow through so that every commitment gets handled appropriately, the ability to effectively triage messages and other pressing issues – all while meeting project deadlines and maintaining professionalism
Ability to manage complex time-sensitive scheduling needs related to Harborview’s pillar goals and regulatory requirements
Proficient in the use of office technologies such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint with a technological aptitude for learning additional software used in the office of the Administrators
Ability to quickly learn and apply administrative policies and procedures.
Demonstrated strong customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, effectively engaging with diverse populations
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
