We are looking for a Senior Manager, Enablement Operations and Instructional Design to join our Sales Enablement team, reporting to the vice president of Sales Enablement. In this remote role, you will lead a team of sales content and instructional designers that are responsible for designing and building high impact sales enablement materials and training curriculums. You will play a critical role in driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-impact sales content and learning management solutions for our Go-To-Market (GTM) Sales teams. This role will also focus on building innovative, learner-centered sales enablement programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, and enhancing the overall sales effectiveness of our global sales force. The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager, Enablement Operations and Instructional Design role at Infoblox is an experienced leader in instructional design and sales enablement, with a proven track record in developing high-impact training curriculums, managing content platforms, and driving sales effectiveness through innovative, learner-centered programs. What you’ll do:

Lead and Manage the Instructional Design and Content Development Team

  • Supervise and mentor a team of instructional designers and content developers to create high-impact sales enablement content and learning curriculum materials.
  • Identify, invest and train the team on content design AI technologies to scale and improve the performance and output of the team.

Oversee Highspot Sales Enablement Platform Implementation and Adoption

  • Manage the implementation, ongoing adoption, and optimization of the Highspot platform across the organization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with business needs and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.

Governance and Content Strategy

  • Establish governance practices for content on the Highspot platform, ensuring materials are current, relevant, and accessible.
  • Maintain and refine a content strategy that supports the sales enablement goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales strategies.

Develop and Implement Instructional Design Processes

  • Create a scalable instructional design process for the intake and prioritization of new projects and updates to existing content.
  • Ensure a structured approach to identifying content needs, assigning resources, and delivering high-quality sales training content on time.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Partner with product marketing, sales operations and other key stakeholders to build and align enablement materials with product launches, sales campaigns, and GTM strategies.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the enablement team and other departments to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Measure and Optimize Content Effectiveness

  • Utilize data and feedback from sales teams to assess the effectiveness of training and enablement content.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the impact of content and training on sales performance.

Project and Resource Management

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to meet deadlines and achieve team objectives.
  • Ensure that team members are aligned on priorities and project goals, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Facilitate Team Development and Growth

  • Foster a culture of professional development within the team, providing coaching, training, and growth opportunities.
  • Encourage continuous learning and upskilling in instructional design, content creation, and platform management.
What you’ll bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on sales enablement, content development, or adult learning strategies
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading a team of instructional designers or sales content creators
  • Proven experience in designing and developing sales enablement training curriculums for global sales teams, ideally within the technology or SaaS industries
  • Expertise in learning management systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, and content creation tools, such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, sales processes, and instructional methodologies
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, learning and development, or a related field required, master’s degree is a plus
  • Experience with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN Selling, Force Management Command of the Message) and designing training to support these frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Infoblox's products, network security, or broader IT infrastructure industry knowledge is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to improve training outcomes
What success looks like: After Six Months:
  • Team Leadership and Development: Assess current talent, hire new sales content development role and identify any additional needs for support.
  • Highspot Adoption and Content Governance: Build an ongoing platform adoption and content governance program for our Highspot implementation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales Leadership to ensure training curriculums and content are aligned with key sales initiatives and objectives.
After One Year:
  • Sales Enablement Impact: Demonstrate measurable improvement in sales effectiveness through the successful adoption and management of our Highspot enablement platform and sales training content developed to support our core enablement programs.
  • Continuous Program Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of instructional design processes, leveraging feedback and sales performance data to refine and enhance training materials for optimal outcomes.
  • Strategic Influence and Expansion: Act as a strategic partner within the organization, expanding the instructional design team’s influence across global sales teams and aligning programs to future business needs and growth initiatives
