Cisco seeks an expert Account Manager for a multi-industry territory.

This position requires a strong aptitude for identifying customer business needs and building relationships with primary influencers in the purchasing decision process. Understanding and working with organizations at all levels is also crucial. If you have extensive client-side experience or industry experience in a similar role, and you become comfortable with developing mid and long-term strategies, have experience in the software sales business, a proven record negotiating Enterprise Agreements contracts, and good knowledge in Networking and Security and solutions, budgeting and other business needs. This is an extraordinary chance to apply your client management and sales skills and experience working with an outstanding organization in a high-visibility and impact role.

Job purpose

Building demand for Cisco Solutions and driving business relevance within the customer's key decision-makers. Contribute toward and execute the sales strategy, leading and developing key client relationships to improve Cisco wallet-share and profitability. Working towards exceeding team goals as well as hitting personal targets, supplying overall profitability, success, and a positive image of Cisco in the marketplace. Provide vision and leadership to cross-functional teams, and improve sales efficiency through strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for handling outcome-based client relationships.
  • Implement the business strategy to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with key Cisco extended team resources, like service managers, systems engineers, and product specialists among others, and direct activities within the client as appropriate.
  • Develop and handle relationships with business partners.
  • Maintain a high-profile, professional Cisco presence through business value creation and solutions-oriented selling.
  • Develop and deliver accurate short and long-term sales forecasts aligned with business objectives.

Who you are

  • Education to degree level, Engineering degree preferable.
  • Formal training in sales techniques such as MEDDPICC, and Consulting Selling.
  • Consistent track record of successful sales.
  • Experience in Voice / Security / Application / Networking technologies.
  • Shown experience selling complex technical solutions to executives at the management level.
  • Ability to network within a client organization to identify all key; influencers and decision-makers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Problem Solving.
  • Strategic Thinker.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Good Business English.
  • 10+ years of sales experience.
