new E1 Oncology unit. WORK SCHEDULE 90% FTE, 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
E1 Oncology is our newly established 29-bed inpatient oncology unit. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated nursing team that always puts their patients first.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Screen patients for Oncology treatment
Place IVs, and initiate, assess and observe patients during infusions
Provide procedural support
Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record
Provide care management education for patients and their families
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Active BLS Certification
Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State required by start date
One year of current or recent Oncology nursing experience preferred
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred
