THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Patient Services Platform Architect, you will leverage your technical expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud and mobile application and low-code/no-code platforms, business acumen, and leadership qualities to design transformative patient services capabilities within our organization. You will collaborate closely with the Platform and Product Manager to ensure effective utilization of these technologies. Your role will involve setting and enforcing standards and best practices within the team to promote consistency and efficiency, as well as facilitating the reusability of features across various business functions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the technical aspects of the platform, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
- Drives the overall technical design and end-to-end platform design for assigned initiatives.
- Influences/coaches teams on modern evolutionary platform architecture principles and practices.
- Designs reference and platform architectures based on specific business constraints, requirements and dependencies.
- Defines systems strategy, develops non-functional requirements, designs and prototypes.
- Designs architecture components, including design and documentation of architecture-relevant platform changes or enhancements.
- Clarify technical details in backlog items and contribute to the technical design of backlog items.
- Establish standards and best practices within the capability, and encourage team adherence to these standards.
- Ensures quality in technical solution design and delivery. Conducts sessions with implementation teams to provide detailed inputs into the solution design.
- Articulates architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms.
- Reviews and identifies gaps in architecture and assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigation options.
- Proactively address risks and issues with the team, escalating to program/portfolio oversight when necessary.
- Ensure the appropriate level of technical documentation is maintained.
- Advise Product Owners on platform usage, compare platforms, and provide thought leadership on related technologies.
- Collaborates with implementation teams to ensure the solution is developed in line with industry best practices and Takeda standards.
- Share best practices and standards with the delivery teams.
- Support Product Teams to optimize Patient Engagement. Enhance patient engagement through innovative mobile solutions and personalized communication.
- Promote the reusability of features within different business functions.
- Educate enablement leads on upcoming features and capabilities.
- Drives cross-domain initiatives that are supported by E2E Design, applies digital standards to project platform architecture, and drives technical strategy and architectural tradeoff discussions
- Work with Product Teams to monitor and analyze performance: Track the performance of patient services and applications using analytics to drive improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in developing solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud, Mendix, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of APIs and micro-service architecture.
- Experience in designing Effective & Efficient Architecture Solutions
- Knowledge of on-prem, Hybrid, and Cloud Solution Design & Security
- Experience with Agile SDLC, and DevSecOps Tools & Methodologies
- Understanding of Enterprise Middleware (Application Patterns, Functional & NFRs Analysis)
- Experience with Technical Storytelling and Influence
- Understanding of Modern Testing, Deployment and Infrastructure Automation and other continuous integration approaches
- Strong understanding of the enterprise SaaS software solutions.
- Ability to lead a team working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
- Experience in designing or implementing solutions/products, with a preference for quality improvement experience.
- Proficiency in working with virtual/agile teams in different locations, adapting to various work, culture, and communication styles.
- Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.
