About the role:

WebMD Health Services is looking for a developer to join one of our dev teams. The team owns multiple technology areas and works together to deliver high quality features built on strong technology. React is our front-end technology of choice, and services are primarily built using C# and SQL Server. You’ll collaborate with the rest of the development team, other front-end developers and teammates through WHS Technology, and our Product and Design teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop quality, understandable code
  • Evaluate requirements and collaborate on solutions
  • Act as a development lead on projects and mentor junior developers
  • Be part of our team. Actively collaborate and engage in building a product that helps employees know their company cares.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of combined relevant experience
  • Expert with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, React or a comparable framework
  • Experience with one or more: APIs, accessibility, cloud platforms, security, performance, localization,.Net, Java or mobile development
  • Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way
  • Experience working with people in multiple roles to deliver software features
  • Understanding of Agile development processes and best practices
  • BS or MS degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent demonstrated experience
