FOOD SERVICE WORKER WORK SCHEDULE Per diem, Evenings
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Ensure food is handled safely and presented attractively. Ensure tray accuracy for patient meal orders
Perform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties in the dish room and kitchen and maintain safety and sanitation standards in work area. Use proper cleaning and handling techniques with kitchen equipment
Maintain sanitation standards in work areas, actively contribute to team process, and maintain cooperative work environment and work to improve quality food and services provided to patients, staff and visitors

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in the tray assembly line. In charge of the ticket printer.
Put menu on the tray, retrieve hot food from the cooks area. Check and ensure hot food items quality and presentation.
Assemble the tray using the proper plating guidelines accurately and attractively. Put condiments and double check service instructions.
Restock area and refrigerators with supplies for next day operation.
Use FIFO method. Record meal count for the day on the log sheet.
Ensure safe and proper handling of cold foods. Prep and assembles special sandwiches and salads as ordered
Brew and set up Regular and decaf coffee for dinner. Assist the Cold deli to prepare special cold items.
Prep Ambassador Cart for loading station. Set up timers, tray location log and hand gel.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of, or eligible for a Food Handler's Permit
