About the Role DAZN is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager or Program Manager to lead and manage the development of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple mobile app development projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of developers, designers, and QA engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
- Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure effective execution of these plans.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on mobile app development.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Strong technical background with knowledge of mobile app development frameworks and technologies.
