We work in a Hybrid Model from home and from the office (Rehovot) and We have been recognized as one of the Best 50 high-tech companies to work for in Israel 2023 by Dun & Bradstreet!Duns10-ImpervaWe are looking for a bright and passionate Cloud Native Application Security Team Leader.In this critical role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Imperva AppSec cutting-edge security solutions for cloud native applications running in Containers, K8S. • At least 3 years of experience as a team leader of 3+ software engineers.
• At least 6 years of experience as a hands-on software developer of a large-scale network or security solution in C/C++/GO.
• Proven Software Design and architecture experience.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as: TCP/IP, HTTP, as well as TLS.
• Experience in developing performance oriented applications.
• Knowledge and experience with WAF solutions – a strong advantage.
• Experience in developing frequently released production code in a short cycled CI-CD environment – a strong advantage.
• Bsc/M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent - an advantage.
• A team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and self-learning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of 5 engineers.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of new features.
• Research new technologies and adapt them for use in Imperva’s WAF solutions.
• Own your code - be the last line of support cases and handle production issues when necessary.
