Job Description

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Around the world, data is being generated at an exponential rate, and many government agencies and commercial institutions worldwide are ill-equipped to handle data at scale. Palantir’s software, Foundry and AIP, helps these organizations build data assets that connect operations, analysis, and data to solve their most critical problems. We’ve only recently opened up access to Palantir’s software beyond large enterprises to early stage startups and growth stage companies through our Palantir for Builders program. We’re looking for a Account Executive to source, qualify, and convert new deals with startups whose missions, objectives, and values align with our own. You will be joining our dynamic, rapidly-expanding team, within one of the most exciting companies in the software technology space. You’ll play a critical role in building and scaling a new program while also working with companies across multiple industries and geographies. This role also offers plenty of room for growth and ownership.

Core Responsibilities

    • Independently research and identify viable company fits to build a pipeline
    • Qualify leads both sourced and assigned to the Palantir for Builders team
    • Understand individual customer needs and requirements, and how that maps to Foundry, AIP, and our Palantir for Builders program
    • Proactively source new sales opportunities through consistent prospecting, follow-up, and outreach
    • Manage a pipeline of opportunities through their complete lifecycle, starting with research and securing an introductory meeting, to negotiating and converting a contract
    • Achieve agreed-upon quarterly objectives

What We Value

    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas rapidly and compellingly to a variety of audiences
    • Demonstrated track record of achievement/exceeding sales goals
    • Ability to work autonomously, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

What We Require

    • 7+ years of proven sales experience, including sourcing and qualifying leads as well as negotiating and closing complex deals
    • B2B specific sales experience; experience in software sales is preferred.
    • Experience using web based tools to identify target companies, e.g. Crunchbase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales enablement tools like Highspot
    • Ability to spend 2 days per week in-office
