Technical Project Manager, you will manage web application projects for multiple business lines, working closely with technical leads, internal clients, developers, external vendors, and cross-disciplinary IT team members.
Responsibilities - for all assigned projects:
- Manage project scopes, timelines, resources, deployments, and business/technical relationships – from scoping/planning through implementation
- Manage stakeholder expectations to be in line with agreed-to technical requirements, allowing the delivery of high-quality implementations to customer satisfaction, on agreed-to schedules
- Ensure that project dependencies, milestones, deliverables and status are clearly communicated and understood by the project teams, stakeholders, and management
- Identify and manage risks to the success of projects and know when and how to escalate
- Coordinate and conduct regular, effective, and efficient meetings to review project status, resolve issues, and address risks
- Ensure project teams are following agreed-to processes (priorities, task management, time tracking, etc.)
- Manage project change requests: training or formal experience of project change management
QualificationsRequired Skills- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a similar environment or related field, working with geographically distributed development teams
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience managing projects that are data-centric, with dependencies across multiple data platforms
- Strong understanding of the development processes/full SDLC, and how they relate to project management processes
- Proven experience with project management tracking/reporting tools (e.g. JIRA/ Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Understanding of web technologies to effectively manage risk & complexities within projects, and those that integrate across project teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, or a number of project streams under a large program
- Experience managing project dependencies and blocker issues, developing risk mitigation plans, and escalating when required
- Demonstrated ability for proactive issue resolution with dependencies on project success related to inter-dependencies on other teams
Professional Skill Requirements:- Ability to work independently, with some management oversight, to manage multiple projects from inception to completion
- Ability to influence stakeholders and project resources, and negotiate or escalate when competing priorities arise, to meet commitments throughout the project timeline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Works efficiently with resources in multiple locations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Enjoys a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and thrives on multi-tasking

Desired (preferred) Skills:- PMI certification: PSM, CSM, PMP, etc.
- Lean Six Sigma trainings
Education/Certifications:- BA or equivalent experience
Salary (annual)- $100,000-110,000 base with a target annual bonus
- This is a full-time position
Location- Newark, Hybrid schedule – in office Mon, Tues, Wed (our office is located at 283-299 Market Street, 4th Floor, Newark, NJ 07102)
