CGI Federal is looking for a talented, driven and dynamic Business Analyst with requirements management and a passion for solving problems. In this role, you’ll work within an agile team to enhance and maintain business applications and systems from CGI’s Fairfax, VA offices or remotely. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the project team and our client to review and document the system requirements for the software solutions and enhancements.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team and the client to collect requirements and develop user stories.
Track the implementation and delivery of features by creating and tracking the user stories through the development life cycle
Support the scrum master in managing the scope of the iterations
Support the client in managing the requirements of various projects

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Shall have at least five (5) years of experience as a business analyst in an Agile environment.
• Shall be responsible to gather, document, analyze requirements in the form of user stories. Must be able to work with the Product Owner and team to establish acceptance criteria, story points for user stories; Must be able to work collaboratively with the team to identify task for user stories and gather estimates for these tasks.
• Ability to understand requirements and request clarifications as necessary.
• Collaborate and participate in scrum/team meetings, work with client and other contractors as necessary.
• Attend regular requirements meetings with project stakeholders to understand system functionality and enhancements.
• Maintain and update deliverables as necessary.
• Shall act as a collaborator across teams both internal to the client organization as well as external and ensure consistency and use of best practice.
• Shall be proficient in Agile principles and in the use of tools and methods to efficiently manage requirements and test case/test plans through product releases, sprints, and development cycles
• Shall have experience in Rally.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $49,400.00 - $116,000.00.
