Position Description:

We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join us as a "Solution Architect".
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at Markham for minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop end to end solution architecture for the project meeting business requirements.
• Identify impact to the system for the proposed changes and work with various stakeholders in quantify
and qualifying the impact
• ATo identify the technical debt – application and infrastructure in the landscape
• Create framework to evaluate and prioritize technical debt items.
• Develop roadmaps in conjunction with the Enterprise Architect and business to remediate technical debt.
• Support cost estimation and execution of the tech debt remediation
• Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to the IT Strategy
• Comply with standards, design approaches and governance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven experience in solution architecture, roadmaps and architecture design and implementation.
• Knowledge of wider application technologies stack, and Infrastructure knowledge
• Experience in building roadmap with interim state.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).
• Strong technical experience. This maybe broad experience with the ability to apply it across a variety of
customer and business scenarios.
• The role holder must care about technology and how to exploit it for the benefit of our customers.
• Financial acumen to support development of business cases and to inform key design decisions.
• Ability to balance long-term direction and necessary short-term goals.
• Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
