Job Title: Business Analyst – Asset Management

Position Summary:
The Business Analyst – Asset Management will play a pivotal role in supporting the Asset Management and Infrastructure teams in accurately tracking monthly expenditures, preparing detailed utilization and financial reports, and collaborating with the local IT and Business teams and the Business Unit Finance Partners. Additionally, this role will involve assisting in the preparation of annual budget plans and quarterly forecasts, creating chargeback systems, and facilitating communication between IT, Finance, and Business Units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Asset Management Lead and Infrastructure Lead in the preparation of annual budget plans and quarterly forecasts for submission to Finance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to determine the forecast and usage of virtual storage and server resources, contributing to the development of a chargeback report and model.
- Assist in the evaluation of optimal inventory levels based on planned utilization to mitigate long lead procurement.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Team to create a Virtual Machine and Storage Calculator, establishing a robust charge-back system for Business Units.
- Collaborate with the Asset Management Lead and Infrastructure Lead to monitor and track monthly utilization and spend across business units.
- Prepare comprehensive reports of monthly expenditures for each Business Unit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.
- Act as a liaison between the Global Finance team and Business Unit Finance Partners to address budget tracking issues and provide necessary clarifications.
- Facilitate the budget approval process, acting as an intermediary between IT, Finance, and Business Units, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in asset management, infrastructure procurement and utilization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Alternate degrees acceptable with extensive business facing experience.
- Experience in financial reporting, budget planning, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization and financial software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
o $63,350 - $98,800 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
