This position is located in Chantilly, VA.
• Build organizational and CGI solution knowledge in one or more disciplines to advance professional career
• Establish productive relationships with key stakeholders to identify and translate client high-level business needs or problems into functional or technical requirements
• Support the requirements refinement process, bringing current subject matter expertise or developing new expertise to more efficiently craft and document requirements to support solution improvement and system modernization to enhance the client’s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Analyze existing software applications, system interfaces, and business processes to understand and document functionality to support existing operations or deliver new capabilities and change requests/enhancements on existing capabilities
• Provide direct user support (Tier 1/2 service desk)
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate and analyze data to determine business problems and trends to and solve software problems or opportunities for process improvements
• Support various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. system setup, produce &/or execute scenarios, documentation, defect management, user test support) for system, integration and user-acceptance testing to ensure minimal production defects are realized and complete root cause analysis of the results tying back to customer impacts
• Participate in the full software development life cycle by actively participating on Agile scrum teams through daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Assess and develop options for process improvement recommendations aligned with business processes and needs and facilitate quality improvement efforts
• Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners, and management, including assisting with or conducting requirement and solution walkthroughs, and sprint reviews, and providing a
• TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to learn, the aptitude to research problems, and the wisdom to know when to ask for help
• Ability to collaborate with team members and prioritize work assignments after learning the ropes
• Momentum, other ERP, Finance, Acquisition or Logistics system experience
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience working with federal finance, accounting, or information systems
• Familiarity with any fundamental software design & engineering tasks (breaking down large tasks into achievable chunks, problem solving, identifying areas to improve for design, or programming)
• Understanding or experience with database management systems (Relational Database, Access, or other means of storing large datasets)
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600.00 - $235,200.00.
