www.spreetail.com . Spreetail is hiring a Director of Safety and Loss Prevention across our fulfillment center network. This role will be onsite and responsible for working with leaders in the building and fulfillment center network to achieve and maintain the highest level of safety and security.
How you will achieve success:
- Obsess over Safety & Loss Prevention with a clear ability to influence action across the network.
- Support the development, collaboration and deployment of loss prevention, physical security, workplace violence, and safety programs within the fulfillment network.
- Root cause and support network implementation of prevention mechanisms that jeopardize Spreetail team member safety and security.
- Manage, track, and mitigate OSHA concerns and risks. Push for continued compliance and further understanding of OSHA and other regulatory compliance.
- Assist with expanding supply chain capabilities relating to safe fulfillment of products with regulations tied to Hazardous Materials, EPA Compliance, Fire Code, etc.
- Help automate and systematize standards to eliminate unsafe incidents from warehouses.
- Enhance disciplines and job instructions across the FC network to ensure best-in-class Loss Prevention, environmental health, and safety programs.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution environment, preferably ecommerce.
- 5+ years of experience leading safety and loss prevention teams.
- Have led safety and loss prevention in large sites (600k sq ft or more) across multiple locations.
- Trained in First Responder, Hazmat Control, DOT Regulations, OSHA Regulations, related EPA regulations, and all other EH&S required classes for EH&S professionals.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the year.
- BS in Operations, Management, Supply Chain Management, Criminal Justice or analytical business-related field.
- Internal audit, law enforcement, or military background.
$140,000 - $180,000 a year Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000/year to $180,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
