Job Description

This role leads, contributes and supports all visual merchandising (VM) and project management initiatives in store construction within the affiliate. You will manage the store and retail design for the brands assigned, working in collaboration with Retail Design and Development Center (RDDC), Brands and external parties. You will need to ensure projects & VM are executed on budget, meeting the schedule and timeline KPIs; in accordance to brand guidelines.

What You Will Achieve
• Develops and executes visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives, manages VM elements, and oversees promotional event execution.
• Partners with Brand Marketing to understand brand strategy, provides necessary information, and ensures adherence to brand guidelines.
• Leads store and counter openings, manages project timelines and budgets, and oversees construction process.
• Applies project management best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget, while optimizing costs.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams (brands, design, procurement, vendors) to achieve project goals.
• Manages vendor selection, negotiation, and performance.
• Identifies and addresses project challenges, finding creative solutions to meet budget and timeline constraints.

Qualifications

What You Will Need
• Degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising / Project Management / Construction (preferably in retail / beauty / high fashion industry).
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels both verbally and through drawing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with Macintosh platform and software applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CAD, Microsoft Office and 3-D program.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Able to confidently communicate with leaders in various levels: Affiliates, Regional and Global
• Proactive self-starter who also enjoys being part of a team
• Ability to manage self and others to effective project timelines
• Effective working with people from different cultures and backgrounds
