Production Infrastructure & Engineering (PI&E) organization provides the essential platforms and infrastructure hosting solutions that power EA's live services. Our charter is to make EA's games and services available to all players anytime and anywhere. To do this, we focus on the high availability of infrastructure, primary services, and studio services. We aim to help developers to experiment and build new games quickly with infrastructure services on-demand and workflows that promote rapid development in the cloud. In all of this, we focus on being there for players where and when they want to play.

Infrastructure Optimization & Cost Management

As a Senior Business Analyst within the Cost Management team, you will work with multiple teams to provide insight about our online services that enhance the game experience. Our role is important for aligning and driving Infrastructure Cost related strategic initiatives with an important focus on improving the Infrastructure Cost Management processes.

You will report to the Director of Infrastructure Cost Management.

What You'll do

• You will partner with finance and other technical teams to forecast infrastructure spend, build queries and analyze data to support cost modelling, chargebacks and cost allocations.
• You will track and report important insights to partners and leadership, on our infrastructure spend.
• You will forecast infrastructure costs, build queries and analyze data to support forecasting, cost modelling, chargebacks and show important insights into infrastructure cost drivers.
• You will influence and support strategic decision-making; model business scenarios and provide deep insights into data and complex problems or situations using appropriate methodologies and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in related fields
• Familiarity with Infrastructure costs, and workload usage /consumption patterns on cloud including an understanding of cloud providers, platforms and configurations (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with data visualization software packages, e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau
• Familiarity with SQL and similar database tools for querying complex data sets.
• A B.A./B.S. in STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering Sciences

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
o $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
