OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

• The ICC Bangalore GPP Team Lead is expected to help establish a GPP/GPA team presence in ICC Bangalore. This will involve working closely with stakeholders across different teams and functions (ICC Bangalore, DD&T, GPA/GPP etc.) This will require establishing a x-functional team of Pricing, Access and GHE
• The Team Lead should have experience of people management, building Global Market Access teams in equivalent centers in India, experience of working with senior internal stakeholders and is a SME in Pricing and Access. Track record of driving innovation, collaboration and mentoring talent.
• The team lead should foster an understanding of decision making and related impact on access and business across partner functions as necessary. The role requires the right capabilities and the right mindset to drive collaboration, impact, and innovation to realize our short- and long-term goals to fulfill our vision.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Building and recruiting the GPP/GPA ICC team
• People management, development and mentoring of the GPP/GPA ICC team
• Work effectively across functions and geographies with a focus on customer needs to achieve goals and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Be the team interface & coordinate with the GPA Team
• Contribute to the development of a plan to build the GPA/GPP in-sourcing function in Bangalore and lead its implementation
• Delivery of key services focused on generating pricing and access insights to facilitate decisions on drug development, investment decisions, launch strategies by the GPP Team.
• Identify and develop new services for GPA from ICC Bangalore
• Coordinating and allocating resources across the team to meet business needs
• To lead and or participate in strategic market access and pricing projects.
• Participate in and contribute to the development of ICC Bangalore
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing & market access process and systems

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Essential

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in science, medicine, economics, pharmacy, MBA preferable
• 15+ years experience in healthcare or life sciences
• SME in Pricing and Access for pharma
• Experience of developing complex pricing and access services to support above country functions
• Experience of building and managing pricing and access teams to support Global pharma functions
• Strategic mindset, critical thinker & problem solver
• Comfortable with ambiguity and experience of working in multi-matriced organizations
• Excellent communications skills
