About the Role: Our Talent Acquisition team at Quizlet is a tight-knit group dedicated to bringing in top talent that aligns with our mission to revolutionize learning through technology. We operate with a high level of collaboration and ownership, constantly striving to enhance the candidate experience and support the company’s growth objectives. As a member of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping Quizlet’s future by identifying, attracting, and onboarding exceptional individuals who share our passion for education and innovation. This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office. You will be onsite in our SOMA SF office 3+ days per week or more as needed.

In this role, you will:

    • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, scheduling Google Meet interviews, and facilitating panel interviews
    • Maintain data integrity in Lever (our applicant tracking system)
    • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to understand open roles and funneling candidates through the process
    • Facilitate our new hire orientation including coordination and execution of the onboarding program, seamlessly integrating onboarding within broader HR processes and policies
    • Act as the primary liaison for incoming employees aligned with company standards, offering guidance, addressing concerns, and providing support throughout their onboarding
    • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with ongoing projects as needed such as background checks, DEI efforts, employer branding, etc.
    • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times

What you bring to the table:

    • At least one year of experience in a recruiting coordinator role or similar
    • Proven administrative skills, particularly in managing complex scheduling
    • Passion for education and/or doing good in the world — you’re excited about the impact your work could have in the lives of students and teachers every single day
    • Energized by a dynamic workplace, juggling multiple tasks with ease while maintaining high-quality outcomes
    • Experience partnering with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of recruiting activities
    • You thrive in evolving environments and embrace ambiguity: you are able to collaborate in an agile way, readily adapting to new ways of working in response to business needs
    • You're a proactive problem solver who communicates effectively, and welcomes opportunities to implement innovative solutions
    • You enjoy being part of a team and are able to build strong relationships with others
    • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all your work
    • Strong customer service mindset with empathy and a positive attitude
    • Ability to work on-site in our San Francisco office 3+ days per week

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $80,000 - $105,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
