Recurly seeks a Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst to lead our market research and internal competitive intelligence program. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this person will be a key part of our scaling Marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our competitive landscape, including market trends, product offerings, and strategic positioning. Create competitive battlecards and messaging frameworks to empower our teams in effectively communicating our unique value propositions.
• Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align competitive intelligence efforts with organizational goals. Provide timely insights and updates on competitive activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Work with cross functional teams to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and insights to effectively compete in the marketplace and win important deals.
• Deliver regular reports and briefings on the competitive landscape, including market shifts, competitor strategies, and product updates.

Requirements

• You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights. Experience in data analysis, market research, or competitive intelligence is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill and present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail in gathering, organizing, and analyzing information. You thrive in an environment that values accuracy and thoroughness.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. You excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where teamwork and adaptability are key.
